BOO!!! ? Halloween night is getting closer and closer! Do you remember the Sock Gang swap? Clara from Petit Pois Rose and Antonella Pal , the masterminds of the gang, witnessed the sock's transformation into a werewolf sock during a full moon night...and decided that the Gang had to come back! The werewolf sock we sent to our swap partner is this slightly chubby ghost, filled with candy. We have prepared the step-by-step tutorial to make it, it's really simple and quick!

BOOO!!! ? The Halloween night is getting closer! Do you remember The Gang of the Sock? The gang is back! It has been hired again by Antonella from Pal and Clara from Petit Pois Rose . This time we had to make a Halloween sock. We made this little chubby ghost, stuffed with candies. Here's the step by step tutorial to make it, it's really quick and easy!

MATERIALS

  • black and white felt
  • sewing machine
  • white sewing thread
  • sewing needle
  • scissors or tailor's wheel
  • pencil
  • tailor's chalk

PROCEDURE

Cut out a piece of white felt in the shape of a ghost, a slightly smaller black piece and a strip of black felt (1) .

Draw eyes and mouth on the white felt with the pencil and cut them out (2) .

Draw a horizontal line for the pocket about two-thirds of the way up the black piece, using tailor's chalk. Cut along the line (3) .

Overlap the two pieces with the right sides facing outwards, inserting the black strip folded in half between the two at the top. Secure everything with pins (4) .

Sew along the edges of the black piece, using the sewing machine (5) . If necessary, retouch the contours using scissors.

TUTORIAL

Start cutting out the pieces. Cut a piece of white felt in ghost shape, a black piece slightly smaller and a black felt strip [wc_highlight color="red"] (1) [/wc_highlight].

Draw eyes and mouth on the white felt using a pencil and cut them out [wc_highlight color="red"] (2) [/wc_highlight].

Draw a horizontal line for the pocket in the middle of the black piece, using the tailor's chalk. Cut along the line [wc_highlight color="red"] (3) [/wc_highlight].

Overlay the two pieces with the straight parts on the outside. Insert the black strip, folded in half, between the two pieces, at the top. Stop everything with the pins [wc_highlight color="red"] (4) [/wc_highlight].

Sew along the edges of the black piece, using the sewing machine [wc_highlight color="red"] (5) [/wc_highlight]. If necessary remodel the edges using the scissors.
