DIY BLACK CAT TREAT BAGS FOR HALLOWEEN

We created this simple and fun tutorial for the CasaFacile website :) the cats can be both sewn and made using only hot glue, for an even quicker DIY!

We created this simple and funny tutorial for CasaFacile 's website :) the cats can be sewed or made using just the hot glue, for an even faster DIY!

MATERIALS

• yellow and black felt
• sewing template (download the pdf template HERE )
• glue (preferably hot glue)
• scissors
• sewing needle (optional)
• black sewing thread (optional)
• sewing machine (optional)

TUTORIAL (STEP-BY-STEP PICTURES HERE )

STEP 1

Cut out the front shape and the two parts that make up the back of the cat from the black felt, using the pdf that you have downloaded and printed on A4. Cut out the eyes from the yellow felt. [wc_highlight color="red"](1)[/wc_highlight] .

STEP 2

Overlap the front and back of the cat, placing the two halves that make up the back over the entire outline of the front. In case you decide to use the sewing machine or to sew by hand, stop with two stitching points the two halves of the back to the front shape to keep them firm, and then proceed to sew along the entire edge leaving a margin of a few millimeters. Otherwise you can safely use hot glue pasting all along the edge. Do not glue the line that divides the back halfway, it will be the opening to put the sweets. STEP 3

Glue the eyes on the front of the cat using hot glue. Tip: If you do not have hot glue you can sew your eyes by hand using a yellow thread before step 2 (before sewing together front and back). [wc_highlight color="red"](3)[/wc_highlight] .
