STARRY NIGHT – la nostra nuova collezione autunno-inverno! Questa volta ci siamo ispirate alla notte, alla sua atmosfera, alle stelle e alle creature che la popolano. Quattro pattern esclusivi disegnati da Laura, stampati su morbida viscosa il cui ciclo di produzione avviene interamente in Italia. E questa volta ben 6 modelli diversi: due abiti (forse tre), due gonne (di cui una in arrivo!), due bluse…una collezione molto più ampia rispetto alla precedente! Sentivamo il bisogno di fare un ulteriore passo avanti e crescere ancora, questa estate abbiamo lavorato tantissimo per creare una collezione più completa e crediamo di esserci quasi riuscite 🙂 E per dimostrarlo abbiamo anche deciso di superare la nostra paura dell’obiettivo e di “metterci la faccia”: chi ci conosce sa quanto odiamo metterci in posa davanti alla macchina fotografica…ma noi sappiamo anche quanto sia importante per un piccolo brand raccontare la propria storia e mostrare chi c’è dietro tutto il lavoro…anche se, lo ammettiamo, è stata dura!
STARRY NIGHT – our new autumn-winter collection! This time we were inspired by the night, its atmosphere, the stars and the creatures that populate it. Four exclusive patterns designed by Laura, printed on soft viscose whose production cycle takes place entirely in Italy. And this time, 6 different models: two dresses (maybe three), two skirts (one of which is coming!), two blouses … a much wider collection than the previous one! We felt the need to go a step further and grow again, this summer we worked a lot to create a more complete collection and we believe we have almost succeeded 🙂 And in order to prove it we also decided to overcome our fear of the camera and show ourselves: our friends know how much we hate to pose in front of the camera…but we also know how important it is for a small brand to show who is behind all the work…even if, we admit it, it was hard!
Questo post arriva in ritardo, esattamente come è arrivata in ritardo la collezione. Avremmo voluto avere tutto pronto per il lancio i primi di ottobre ma le cose, si sa, raramente vanno come previsto…specialmente se sei una piccola realtà che sta muovendo i primi passi! Pattern e modelli erano già pronti, ma scegliere il tessuto ci ha portato via più tempo del previsto, e i suoi tempi di produzione inaspettatamente lunghi hanno fatto il resto. Ma noi non ci scoraggiamo di certo, continuiamo a lavorare sodo e ad imparare dai nostri errori. Come si dice, chi ben comincia è a metà dell’opera? Non ne siamo del tutto convinte…secondo noi chi comincia ha appena spostato il sassolino che provoca la valanga XD
This post comes late, exactly as the collection arrived late. We would have liked to have everything ready for launch in early October but things, we know, rarely go as planned… especially if you are a small company that is taking its first steps! Prints and patterns were ready, but choosing fabric took us more time than expected, and its unexpectedly long production times did the rest. But we certainly do not get discouraged, we continue to work hard and learn from our mistakes. How do you say, who starts well is half of the work? We are not entirely convinced…according to us, those who begin have just moved the pebble that causes the avalanche XD
STARRY ANIMALS – è ispirato al cielo stellato. Sagome di animali fluttuano nel cielo blu profondo, racchiudendo stelle e costellazioni! Le costellazioni rappresentate sono reali: i lama, ad esempio, sono legati tra loro dalla costellazione dei gemelli…non poteva essere altrimenti!
STARRY ANIMALS – is inspired by the starry sky. Silhouettes of animals float in the deep blue sky, enclosing stars and constellations! The constellations represented are real: the llamas, for example, are bound together by the constellation of twins…it could not be otherwise!
NIGHT IN THE WOODS – la notte è quella nel bosco: tra le fronde degli alberi, alla luce delle stelle, si muovono furtivamente le sue creature…alcune notturne, altre sonnambule! Ci sono bianchissime civette, pettirossi e picchi molto carini, e tanti agili scoiattoli.
NIGHT IN THE WOODS – we took inspiration from the woods after the sunset: among the trees, in the starlight, its creatures move sneaky…some are nocturnal, other are just sleepwalkers! There are super white owls, very cute robins and woodpeckers, and a lot of agile squirrels.
MIDNIGHT FESTIVAL – una festa all’aperto in una di quelle notti di inizio autunno, quando non fa caldo ma nemmeno freddo, e l’atmosfera è magica…file di luci illuminano la notte, i profumi delle bancarelle si spargono nell’aria, c’è musica dal vivo e la gente balla, ride, si diverte. E’ un pattern pieno di dettagli: la band che suona, il carretto dei gelati e un elemento fondamentale…il chiosco dei pretzel!
MIDNIGHT FESTIVAL – an outdoor festival on one of those early autumn nights, when the weather it’s not hot but not even cold, and the atmosphere is magical…rows of lights illuminate the night, the scents of the food stalls scatter in the air, there’s live music and people dance, laugh, have fun. Is a pattern full of details: the band, the ice cream cart and a fundamental element … the stand with pretzels!
LUNAR MOTHS – c’è chi le ama e chi fugge quando ne vede una…a noi le falene sono sempre sembrate delle creature un po’ magiche! Creature notturne per eccellenza, alcune di loro hanno disegnati sulle ali motivi bellissimi, che non hanno niente da invidiare alle loro cugine farfalle. E poi sono pelosine e un po’ cicciotte, cosa si può volere di più?
LUNAR MOTHS – someone loves them, someone else is scared by them…we have always seen moths as magical creatures! Little queens of the night, some of them have beautiful patterns drawn on their wings, that have nothing less compared to their daily cousins. They are also a bit shaggy and chubby, could you wish for something more?
Ovviamente tutti gli abiti sono tutti cuciti a mano, i modelli hanno linee semplici ma con quel dettaglio che fa la differenza (come piace a noi!) e sono tutti estremamente versatili: con scarpe basse o con i tacchi, sotto un cardigan o una giacca…sono perfetti sia per il giorno che per la sera! Come sempre ogni modello è dedicato ad una persona che fa parte della nostra vita, è il nostro modo per ringraziare chi ci supporta ogni giorno nelle nostre scelte 🙂

Obviously all the clothes are all handmade, the models have simple lines but with that detail that makes the difference (as we like it!) and they are all extremely versatile: with flat shoes or with heels, under a cardigan or a jacket…they are perfect both for the day and for the evening! As always each model is dedicated to a person who is part of our life, it is our way to thank those who support us every day in our choices 🙂
