“Che cosa posso realizzare con i vostri tessuti?” è una domanda che sentiamo spesso da quando la collezione “Quirky Animals” è online. E’ stampata su morbido popeline di cotone, un tessuto molto versatile: abbigliamento per adulti e bambini, accessori per capelli, borse e zaini, quilt e patchwork, oggetti per la casa come federe e runner…sono tante le cose che si possono realizzare!
Però, come accade per ogni tessuto, è importante scegliere i modelli e le tecniche giuste. Per questo abbiamo deciso di darvi qualche ispirazione con una serie di post, in cui troverete cartamodelli e tutorial adatti…e oggi si comincia dagli abiti estivi 😀
Abbiamo selezionato sei cartamodelli, tutti di designer indipendenti e adatti sia alle principianti che alle sarte più esperte. Noi li troviamo perfetti per i nostri tessuti, in particolare per “Chunky Cats” e “Forest Llama” (sia la variante blu che quella gialla). Quale vi piacerebbe realizzare? I modelli un po’ romantici di Atelier Vicolo n.6 e Deer and Doe? Gli abiti di ispirazione retrò di Sew Over It e Colette Patterns? “What can I make with your fabrics?” is a question we are asked very often, since the “Quirky Animals” collection is online. It’s printed on soft cotton poplin, a very versatile fabric: clothing for adults and children, hair accessories, bags and backpacks, quilting and patchwork, objects for the home such as pillowcases and runners…there are so many things you can make!
However, as with any fabric, it is important to choose the right patterns and techniques. For this reason we have decided to give you some inspiration with a series of posts, in which you will find suitable patterns and tutorials…and today we start with summer dresses: D
We have selected six sewing patterns, all from independent designers and suitable for both beginners and more experienced sewers. We find them perfect for our fabrics, in particular for “Chunky Cats” and “Forest Llama” (both the blue and yellow variants).
