Eccoci ad un altro appuntamento con la rubrica “♥ at first sight”! Questa settimana è dedicata ad un prodotto che trovo fantastico…la carta da parati rimovibile! E’ perfetta se volete dare un tocco di colore alla vostra casa ma avete paura che alla lunga vi stanchi, oppure se siete in affitto e non potete fare cambiamenti permanenti. Queste nelle foto sono della Chasing Paper, un’azienda newyorkese che produce carta da parati rimovibile per tutti i gusti: la gamma di design è davvero ampia e i pattern sono tutti molto belli e moderni! Oltre che per decorare le pareti può essere utilizzata in molti altri modi, ad esempio per dare carattere a mobili vecchi o noiosi. Adoro come il team di “A Beautiful Mess” ha utilizzato strisce di carta da parati modello Speckle per decorare le alzate di una vecchia scalinata in legno…un bell’effetto si otterrebbe anche con carte di fantasie diverse ma di colori coordinati.
“♥ at first sight” is back again! The post of this week is dedicated to a fantastic product…removable wallpaper! It’s a great way to add a pop of color to your home, even if you are the type of person that gets tired soon of visual things. It’s also perfect for renters who can’t make permanent decisions for the space. These in the pictures are of Chasing Paper, a New York based company that produces removable wallpapers for every taste: the range of designs is wide and all patterns are really modern and beautiful! There are so many ways you can use removable wallpaper too, like decorating old or boring furniture. I love how “A Beautiful Mess” team has create statement stairs covering the bottom half of the stairs with some strips of speckled dot wallpaper. You could get a nice effect even using wallpapers of different patterns but matching colors!
Wild è in assoluto una delle mie preferite, sia in nero che in oro, con quei musetti di animali molto grafici ma teneri…non esiterei ad utilizzarla per un’intera parete! Mi piace molto anche Little Village, (nella foto sottostante) ma essendo la trama più fitta limiterei l’utilizzo a superfici più contenute.
Wild is absolutely one of my favorites, in both black and gold, with all those cute noses of animals… I wouldn’t hesitate to use it for an entire wall! I also like Little Village, (in the picture below) but I would use it smaller areas.
