Sono passati alcuni mesi dal lancio della nostra prima collezione di tessuti “Quirky Animals” dedicata agli animali strambi, che ci ha dato tante soddisfazioni e che avete accolto con entusiasmo. Sapete che un problema con un fornitore ci ha costrette a sospendere la vendita dei tessuti al metro (potrebbe riprendere a breve, ma di questo parleremo poi), ma che questo non ha scoraggiato né noi, né voi. Da allora infatti tanti fat quarter sono stati venduti, con i quali avete realizzato delle cose bellissime (potete trovarle nelle storie in evidenza che gli abbiamo dedicato su Instagram!), ma abbiamo anche ricevuto tanti messaggi da persone che amano i nostri pattern, ma che non sanno neanche tenere un ago in mano xD Come risolvere la situazione?
A few months have passed since the launch of our first “Quirky Animals” fabric collection dedicated to weird animals, which gave us a lot of satisfaction and which you welcomed with enthusiasm. You know that a problem with a supplier has forced us to suspend the sale of fabrics by the meter (it could start again soon, but we will talk about this later), but this has not discouraged neither us nor you. Since then, in fact, many fat quarters have been sold, with which you have made beautiful things (you can find them in the stories we have dedicated to them on Instagram!), But we have also received so many messages from people who love our patterns, but who aren’t even able to hold a needle in their hands xD How to solve the situation?
In questi mesi abbiamo pensato e ripensato, tagliato e cucito, fatto prove su prove…e alla fine è nata la nostra prima micro collezione, composta da tre modelli in diverse varianti e realizzata con i tessuti della collezione “Quirky Animals” direttamente dalle mani di Laura!
Abbiamo realizzato tre modelli semplici ma divertenti, adatti a tutte le fisicità e perfetti per l’estate:
– una blusa smanicata con colletto, realizzata con il tessuto “Chunky Cats”;
– una blusa a maniche corte con una divertente passamaneria pom-pom, disponibile nei tessuti “Chunky Cats” e “Corgilicious”;
– una gonna arricciata con fascia in vita, realizzata con il tessuto “Forest Llama” nella classica variante blu e nella nuovissima variante gialla.
Man mano che usciranno le collezioni si arricchiranno di nuovi modelli…chissà, presto potrebbero aggiungersi degli abiti o qualcosa di completamente diverso! 😉
In recent months we have thought and redesigned, cut and sewn, done tests on tests … and in the end our first micro collection was born, composed of three items in different variants and made with the fabrics from our “Quirky Animals” collection, directly from Laura’s hands!
We made three simple but fun clothes, suitable for all body type and perfect for the summer:
– a sleeveless blouse with collar, made with “Chunky Cats” fabric;
– a short-sleeved blouse with a fun pom-pom trimming, available in “Chunky Cats” and “Corgilicious” fabrics;
– a gathered skirt with waistband, made with the “Forest Llama” fabric in the classic blue variant and the brand new yellow variant.
As the collections come out they will be enriched with new models … who knows, soon could be added some dress or something completely different! 😉
Si perché c’è di più, abbiamo deciso che questa non sarà un’eccezione, ma una costante: l’uscita di ogni nuova linea di tessuti sarà accompagnata da una micro collezione di vestiti, limitati nel numero e alla stagione. In questo modo chi non sa cucire potrà sempre trovare una piccola sezione di “ready made”, pronti per essere indossati, ovviamente in quantità limitata e disponibili solo per la stagione. Chi invece sa cucire troverà tutte le collezioni di tessuti al metro sempre disponibili, per realizzare quello che preferisce!
Yes, because there is more, we have decided that this will not be an exception: the release of each new line of fabrics will be accompanied by a micro collection of clothes, limited in number and season. In this way, those who do not know how to sew can always find a small section of “ready made”, ready to be worn, obviously in limited quantities and available only for the season. Those who know how to sew will find all the collections of fabrics per meter always available, to make what they prefer!
Tutti gli abiti sono realizzati con i morbidi tessuti 100% cotone della nostra collezione, stampati in Italia e certificati Oeko-Tex, e cuciti a mano da Laura. Li trovate già sul nostro shop Etsy, al momento sono disponibili pochissimi pezzi! Inoltre possiamo anticiparvi che presto potreste trovare di nuovo disponibili i tessuti al metro…forse eh! All clothes are made with the soft 100% cotton fabrics of our collection, printed in Italy and Oeko-Tex certified, and hand-sewn by Laura. You can find them already on our Etsy shop, very few pieces are available at the moment! Moreover we can anticipate you that soon you could find again the fabrics available by the meter … maybe eh! Fingers crossed! 😉
